Axial-Flow® combines not only lose little grain in high-speed or high-yield harvest conditions, they also ensure your tank is filled with clean and undamaged grain. No matter the crop or field conditions, the 150 Series combines are designed to optimise your yield and profitability, and are capable of harvesting over 130 different crops through quick and easy adjustments.

  • 6-cylinder turbo Stage V engine
  • 5 different headers for all crops and working width up to 10.7 m
  • Lift cylinder capacity of 75 mm (5150) and 80 mm (6150/7150)
  • 6.24 m² total cleaning area / 6.13 m² cleaning area with Cross-Flow
  • Low turning radius down to 4.4 m

Explore the series

  • Designed for Axial-Flow combines, the wide range of Case IH headers is the perfect match to maximise output potential, even in tougher crop conditions and cropping practices.

With a working width up to 10.7 m, the combine recognizes the header and its most recent adjustment, which avoids losing time to set-up. Offering a complete range to harvest in all crops (cereals, soybeans, oilseed, corn/maize and windrowed crops), they deliver a smooth crop flow and reduced wear. Equipped with the fully automatic field tracking system Terrain Tracker for header height control, it will ensure an excellent ground contouring performance.

  • Performance and quality of the Axial-Flow combine harvesters begin with the high-performance feeder housing. The rugged feeder, with the ability to handle up to 10.7 m headers (on 6150 / 7150), matches the volume requirements of the threshing and separating systems.

No additional feeding drum is needed, improving efficiency and operator visibility in dust free working conditions. The standard manual cutting angle adjustment on the feeder (18°) maximizes feeding performance for all crops and conditions. For higher reliability and protection, the 150 Series features an optional stone trap and a service-free hydraulic feeder drive belt tensioner.

  • Introduced in 1977, the Case IH single rotor technology has proven its efficiency and grain savings. Gentle but thorough threshing, it delivers top quality grain, unbruised and undamaged, to strengthen your bargaining power when selling.

A unique Axial-Flow feature is the impeller which accelerates the harvest material to around 100 km/h, ideal conditions for efficient threshing of grains in difficult, wet conditions. The continual crop contact and pressure ensures positive crop control and maximum throughput. Best grain, fewest losses, but also peace of mind as the one only rotor threshes and separates, so fewer moving parts to worry about.

  • It’s not just the rotor that makes the Axial-Flow different: the cleaning system also stands out for its efficiency and convenience. With a fixed cleaning area of 6.24 m² and fed by a set of 6 augers, it delivers a consistent crop flow for best clean grain samples.

With the Cross Flow feature (6.13 m² cleaning area), it compensates one-sided sieve overload by providing side strokes on the upper sieve to maintain capacity throughout the entire cleaning cycle. Activated automatically, it will detect the hillside angle (up to 12°) through sensors in the cab for perfect compensation by stratifying the grain, without requiring operator input.

  • For successful ground preparation for next year’s crop, Case IH offers the most versatile residue management for all residue processing needs. The changeover between chopping and swathing is done in the cab through the AFS Pro 700 monitor or from the left hand side via a button at ground level.

In spreading mode, the spreading discs are speed adjustable to spread evenly across header width and the in-cab adjustable deflectors allow you to maintain spreading in cross wind conditions. For the swathing mode, the windrow rests on top of stubble for fast drying before baling, and the switch from windrowing to chop-and-spread can be done in less than a minute.

  • With 8,800 l for the 5150 and 10,570 l on 6150 & 7150, Axial-Flow combines are designed to put large quantities of clean, high quality grain in the tank. The high capacity elevator allows high speed harvesting of high yielding crops.

As well as the grain tank, the high-speed unloading feature considerably reduces unloading time (88 l/s on the 5150, 113 l/s on 6150 and 7150). The top pivoted, inclined unloading auger allows enough space to safely unload the grain into high-walled trailers, and the auger lengths on the 150 Series allow you to maintain a comfortable distance between the header and the grain trailer while unloading on the go.

  • Maximising productivity requires the best combine and an operator who can work in the ideal environment. Designed with low noise level and vibration, an Automatic Temperature Control (ATC), ample storage, air suspended operator seat, more than 6.3 m² of glass and with LED lights, the 150 Series offers a relaxed working environment.

You can also choose from two cabs, the Comfort version and the Luxury version. The Axial-Flow is as simple and comfortable as possible to operate with the AFS Pro 700 touch-screen on the right-hand console. All important data and settings are available at your fingertips.

  • New generation Case IH Axial-Flow combines use the latest Euro Stage V emissions-compliant engines with SCR-technology. The NEF 6.7 (5150) Cursor 9 (6150 & 7150) are designed for optimum fuel efficiency with maximum power available over 200 rpm speed range.

Long harvesting periods are guaranteed thanks to the large 950 l fuel tank. Powerful but simple: the drives for the whole combine are powered by a central gearbox mounted directly to the engine for maximum efficiency, and the driveline is equipped with only 11 belts and 7 chains to allow less maintenance work. The compact and light 150 Series has a low turning radius down to 4.4 m, which reduces unproductive headland time.

  • With a design that’s centred around fewer moving parts than on any other combine, you can get going while others are still in the yard. Daily service points are simple to access via easy-to-raise side panels and the trademark Axial-Flow spacious rear engine deck.

The large swing-out panels on both sides allow easy access to the entire machine and service platforms, steps and handrails offer safer working conditions. The cleaning area is easily accessible thanks to the spreaders which simply fold away. The fluid level sight gauges, are incorporated into several areas of the combine to improve convenience and serviceability.

  • Case IH Advanced Farming Systems (AFS™) collect and deliver important data for your management decisions on crop cultivation and cost management.

By means of AFS AccuGuide GPS-controlled auto-steering, your combine is guided automatically – with a repeatable accuracy down to 2.5cm, track after track - to reduce overlaps and minimise time and fuel consumption during harvest. Precision farming technology reduces operator fatigue, boosts productivity and lets you exploit the combine’s full potential. With AFS Connect™, all your data are transferred to your farm computer in real-time, enabling you to provide instant advice and directions whenever you see the need to make immediate operating adjustments.
